SIMKHA: I grew-up in the middle of handmade skin care product, with my mother, and grand-mother, who used to do our artisanal-handmade skin care product, in Benin and Gabon (Africa). All products are made with Shea butter, mango and all other natural ingredients around. But when I came in Canada, for my study, in my adult life, I start using skin care products on the main stream market, until I had my Son Lorenzo. Lorenzo was my wake-up to go back to my roots as a solution to his skin problems. I used to call him my beloved crocodile. I was tired using so-called natural products, without any results, so I decided to take control of my son’s condition by going back to my ancestral cosmetics knowledge (savoir-faire ancestral) that I received from my mother and grand-mother. I then gave myself a goal to help other with problematic skin with the creation of SIMKHA.
