How RELUXE brought Luxury Shopping to Local Montreal Charity: Le Chainon

What if your love for shopping could help women in need? Well, how about you pay Reluxe a visit (an annual charity shopping event for the benefit of charity). When you do, you’ll be hooked from your first experience. With lots of fabulous people, champagne, pre-loved luxury (GUCCI, PRADA, Louis Vuitton, and so much more) you will wonder why you’ve never joined the fun before. While all this is happening, every penny spent is for the benefit of a local Montreal charity: Le Chainon.

For the last 85 years, Le Chainon has helped countless Montreal Women to regain a sense of self and independence. Founded by Yvonne Maisoneuve, the charity was founded for women and girls facing life difficulties in the Montreal area. Eighty-five years later, its mission is still the same.

As fate would have it, three Montreal women have carried the mantle, as well as enlisting their friends, family, and associates to join in. Among them, local celebrities, mother-daughter duos, businessmen, and women. Headed by Isabelle Eithier, Ordy Giroux, and Chantal Durivage, Reluxe entered into its third year at the Festival Mode et Design Festival with co-artistic director, Serge Laviolette.

The event raised over $15,000 in ticket sales, donations, and a silent auction. Will you be at their next event? Don’t pass up a chance to own a piece of luxury for charity.
