Once again this year RELUXE – a unique shopping experience featuring second-hand branded items – will be back in the limelight, with a grand parade and a pop-up shop at the Festival Mode et Design (FMD), from 21 to 26 August.
Under the artistic direction of Isabelle Ethier, Emoment and Chantal Durivage of the Festival Mode et Design, in collaboration with Claude Laframboise, renowned fashion designer, the parade, which will take place on August 23 at 6:30 pm, will feature personalities from the Fashion, business and arts that proudly support the Chaînon, including Vanessa Pilon and Herby Moreau and Petrona Joseph.
The pieces that will be on display will then be on sale at the RELUXE pop-up shop, which will be located on the Place des Festivals from 23 to 26 August to offer festival-goers the chance to buy luxury items at exceptional prices, while Funding for Chaînon, an organization dedicated to the support of women in difficulty for almost 85 years.
“Funding for the organization comes mainly from private donations. Initiatives such as RELUXE and the involvement of a major event such as the Festival Mode et Design, provide more visibility and support for our cause, “says Marcèle Lamarche, CEO of La Chaînon.
