This weekend, Montreal is set to host the largest convention on video games, esport, virtual reality, manga, and Japanese culture. Brought to you by Salon International Planet A, a platform seeking to expand from Africa and Europe, this is the first time an event of its caliber is present in the city.
Featuring the world’s most acclaimed female esport champion, Kayane, the event is headlined by local celebrities, Tik Tok, and gaming personalities, all gearing up for conferences, gaming, and fun. Founded by Montreal businessman, Mohamed Coulibaly the star-studded event is set to host an array of activities, including a cosplay contest.
Hosted by Montreal Comedians: Gaby Gatineau and Willy B. Rose, doors open at 12 noon with a 20-minute conference by Kayane on the gaming industry and her journey on the way to the world Guinness’s record as the most successful woman in esport. Activities continue throughout the day, with an anticipated large amount of Montrealers in attendance.
