Fashion Preview #10: Three Days of Homegrown Montreal Fashion

I’m still very much surprised when someone tells me that they’re not familiar with Fashion Preview. Like seriously, Fashion Preview is homogenous with local designers and home-grown creativity amongst Montreal designers.

Why is this relevant? Well, in the last couple of years, we’ve seen a surge in Montreal Fashion, both locally and overseas. With the help of the provincial and international government,  there has been less exportation and brain drain in the industry, unlike we have seen over the last few years. This means that Young Montreal Talent, now have the chance to surpass those who opened the doors, like Denis Gagnon and Marie St-Pierre.

The with the resurgence of “Passion for Fashion”, Montrealers can now celebrate Fashion in a brand new way. If you missed the recent days of creativity, here’s a recap of my #favs below:

Day ONE:

Cégep Marie-Victorin

Robert Atelier

Velvet Couture

Day TWO:

Well, it’s a wrap! Until next season Montrealers!
