It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Fashion Preview. To understand Fashion Preview, and the excitement behind it is to understand the history of Montreal fashion. When Montreal Fashion Week was cancelled, Emanuela took up the mantle to put Montreal fashion on the forefront of the world.
By showcasing local designers, international buyers are the number one reason why this fashion institution has grown and continues to be relevant in Montreal.
Now, here is Emanuela Lolli.
Petrona: What is your official title?
Emanuela: Founder and President of Fashion Preview.
Petrona: What is your greatest passion? Did that fuel you to get started?
Emanuela: Fashion and my family. What got me started was my experience in the fashion community, and when the Montreal Fashion Week was canceled, I decided to start my own version, with Fashion Preview.
Petrona: What is the message you wish to convey to the world? In other words, how do you want to be remembered?
Emanuela: I want people to remember as someone who puts fashion at the forefront of the world, the love I have for my family, my positive smile, and my optimism.
Petrona: Describe your business, service, or mission.
Emanuela My mission is to put Montreal fashion at the forefront of the world.
Petrona: What is your biggest quirk?
Emanuela: I am a person who forgets everything, I can go somewhere a hundred times and I will forget.
Petrona: What has been your biggest challenge in business?
Emanuela: To be liked, and to be appreciated in the fashion industry.
Petrona: What’s next for your business or for you?
Emanuela: A digital version of Fashion Preview.
Petrona: What advice would give to someone reading this?
Emanuela: Never give up, never fold, if you really want something, you have to go for it. It will work out for you!
